though she could be given benefit of doubt, it was due to lack of space?Conversely some have overreacted when you accidentally do the same.Thats why I ask if it means something especially to women.
Also if she touches your back playfully, shoulders while passing by?

You probably know whether it was due to lack of space or not.
It you do not feel it was due to lack of space, then I would say she does like you and would love to be alone with you.
And yes, of course, if she touches your back playfully, as she passes by, then that is flirting.
If you like her, then go along with it, and flirt back.
If you are not attracted to her and if her attention is bothering you, then you really need to tactfully set her straight. Otherwise, hard feelings could develop.

well, if she didn't say "oh, excuse me," or "i'm so sorry," then i would think she may be fond of you. that in addition to her playfully touching your back...sounds like a good sign to me. She could totally be in to you. Yet, make sure she doesn't just do this sort of playful behavior to just anyone. Maybe she is just a very open and touchy person.
Next time she does something to you,..try doing something back...something small and almost insignificant...and see how she reacts. She may back off, or maybe she'll tease you some more.

Evidently it meant something in your mind, but it may have been completely unnoticed by the other party. It takes only a touch to turn on the hormons in us, but arousing a female is a more time-consuming and physiologically generalized event.
There are easier ways to find out what she was thinking than asking strangers who weren't there. Ask her out.

Some people are touchers.
It may or may not mean a thing.
Touching your legs in a group just lets you know that she is there.
Touching your shoulders while passing you by lets you know hey, I see you. A hello without words.

Depends if the girl is a big tease or not. Some women are just teases. They just want you to think that they're into you. They want you to fantasize about them for just a few seconds in your head. But, then again, some women just want it. So, its up to you to find out. Whenever this happens, just talk to the woman and try to find out what her motives are.

pressing legs to yours could easily be a accident due to the lack of space....but playful touches could be a definate sign that she likes you......ask her!
