This guy asked why christians are so mean and violent. In it he gives a long list of scripture reference. Ok so I got tottaly shocked by his genesis one so I looked it up because ive read genesis and overlooked it. He sas that Genesis 1:31 says And God saw everything that he made was good, and behold, it was very good and then also qouted and he saw the animals of the feild and how it suited their suffering. When it reality it sas and the evening and the mornign were the sixth day. Big diffrence eh?

So in short that guy tampered with the evidence the bible gives us. Revelation 22:19 Says that this guy will suffer big time. While in the meantime I asked this question to keep fellow christians away from the trickery of the devil.

Could be a different Bible version.
Today people love modern Bibles rather than the KJV.
When i was doing my Bible studies with 8 Bibles I quickly tossed the "Living Word" as being trash. The translators took so many liberties with phrases in that one I couldn't deal with it.
I have a friend who collects Bibles and she gives a lot of them away keeping only the ones she personally likes.
BUT, to get to YOUR question, how can YOU say MEAN AND VIOLENT and then use a phrase like IS THIS RETARDED?
Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?
And yes, religious people do play with words. A sad fact of life. That's why I don't belong to an organized religon.
The sad fact of life is these people tell you how to live your life and they go home, get drunk, beat their wives up and make them give them oral sex, like any good Christian should do, right!

First do not make general remarks about a group of people. It like say that all whites are nothing but slave owners. It is not true. Now As a christian I am not mean or violent. I do agree there are some and I say Some out there that are. But Most I know are not. Please do not generalize things.

when generalizations are made against an entire group no matter who that group is or represents then the one making the generalization needs to be ready to have their group generalized as well. one must realize there are both good and bad in people so the logical conclusion would be there are both good and bad people in any particular group.

If we are real Christians - we should be Christ-like. There are people pretending to be Christians - who do not follow Christ and His teachings. We should be loving and kind.
