All sibling rivalrys stem from experiences they have had growing up. By raising children to appreciate their own individual strengths and talents, and accepting the differences between them and their brothers and sisters, the need to fight for power should be less.
There were 6 of us growing up, and we were always fighting for mums attention (She was a single parent), what we learned in time was we all had our own qualities and we have all grown up to be completely different people. We still have good relationships and realise that we don't need to compete anymore.
Having a stong bond with your siblings mean you have friends for life, wouldn't jepodise that for anything!!!

the siblings need to work it out among themselves. This can take time or can possible never happen. In the end the most you can hope for is that they like each other enough to be civil to each other when near each other.

Just listen and don't take sides, they will work it out themselves, as soon as you give advice it will be as if you are siding with one or the other and as soon as they makeup you will be the badguy.

back out gracefully and let them get on with it! If they phone and start ranting on, just say - 'busy - someone at door....just off to shops/work/vets/' etc don't get drawn in
