like I said been messaging this guy for over a year and asked at what time is it exceptable to give up, lots of people answered and thought that i was creepy among other thigs, also said that he's not interested, but what do you do when you say not to reply becuase your scared of making a mess of yourself. for a while i did not message him and he checked into his account. personally i think that if he was not and wanted me to know this he would of forgotten about being a gentleman and let me do. what should i do i have been caught by my own shyness and now don't seriously know whats happening. i know i can guess and suppose but will never know, he's really busy, and harldly has time but then i tink if he wanted to he would, but that stilll applies ot the other dilema. no news is good news i say, and he has said nowt. really thinking of not doing it again, but if he didn't want the attention he would do something wouldn't he. really confused.

I'm not sure if I understand the question.
Are you saying that you send instant messages to this guy and he doesn't respond and so you want advice on when should you stop messaging him?
I'd say that if he's ignored more than five messages either he doesn't want to know you or likes keeping you on a string. Either way your friendship is going nowhere. Give up on him and try to meet some new people.

Ok. First of all calm down. If you get worked up about it, the situation will be more complicated. If he is too busy, isn't responding to your messages etc then he probably wasn't as keen as when you started messaging. If he has said nothing, let it go. If he cares about you he would've talked to you by now. He may be dating/going out with someone else. Just have a good time with your friends.

let him b the first one to make the next move .other wise he must b playing with u, he might b a big egoist he doesnt want to spoil his name though he doesnt mind spoiling yours so b careful with this sort of people.When u love someone u ought to nurture the love and cherish the beloved , and a gutsy guy can do that not a spunkless idiot

you should get back to basics.
wait three weeks, then send him a simple email.
"hi, how are you going? I miss our conversation."
if he replies, ok to continue.
if he doesn't reply within two months .. shut that door and walk away.
