Love, Health, Happiness. I have read all the answers and they say these things are the best things in life and they are free? Well, I don't have any money, and the worry of having to pay bills etc is enough to make me feel constantly stressed and ill. Now, if I had some money, this would take the stress away and make me feel a lot better. So in my case, money could buy me health. I am very unhappy at the fact that I haven't got enough money to enable me and my family to do the things we like, if I had money we could do the things we wanted and I would feel happy. For me, money can buy my happiness. As for love, I feel so low and unattractive that my self esteem has slumped to an all time low. If I had money, I would not feel so down, I could buy the clothes that would make me feel confident and my positive attitutde would draw men to me, so in this case, money could buy love.
Those who say the best things in life are free are talking rubbish!

These hippie types are satisfied looking at the blue sky because it is beautiful!!! You need to get out and make friends, they don't cost money, the real ones don't anyway. Take walks everyday, a fit body is free. I'm sorry to hear of your depression, but I noticed that if you are depresses things don't go your way, but if you work to get yourself out of it, then things will start going your way.
Money and all this media propaganda that you have to keep up with the Joneses is such a horrible ideal. Make your own goals and reach for them. Things will start looking up soon.

There are many wonderful things that are free including fresh air, blue skies, a walk in the park, seeing children laugh, chatting to people who make us feel good, day dreams, rainbows, friendships, people watching, swimming in the sea, sex (if you have a partner). There are many people with loads of money but are still depressed as they don't appreciate the free things in life.

I was gonna ask you the same thing!!! As a student I have no money either! Nothing in life is free! Always read the small print.
You could find some rich friends to hang out with!!!!

well. there was a song that came out quite a few years back with a line in it that i think sums it up. " The best things and life are free, but you can give them to the birds and bees. I want money." The best things most people are referring to when they say this are usually: family, friends, self respect, and real love.....not the kind ya rent ;)

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)

Free things that are fun
-Walking at your fave park with a pet
-Skating in the winter; soooo fun
-Tobogganing in the winter; sooo fun if you allow yourself to be silly and just do it; no matter your age
-If you have a camera; get outdoors and take photos and start a hobby of framing your photos. Example: in winter put my winter photos in the frames for xmas decorations etc.
-Drive to a nearby town and browse and walk.
-Go to a funny movie even if by yourself and have a chuckle.
-Go to the pet store and look at the pets; that is always a great time.
-for gals, I like to go to the mall and get free samples, ask for them.
-Dye your hair; get a new haircut (I know money)
-The buck stores are great if you have a low budget and want to shop.
-Walk/drive to your fave coffee shop; some coffee shops have free entertainment.
-Go to chapters and sit there all day and read a book for free over a cup of java
-Rent a comedy video
-In line skating if you have the skates
-ladies; do your nails
-volunteer at a hospital; seniors home; soup kitchen; feels great to help others.
-go to the pet shelter and walk a homeless dog
-think of random acts of kindness and do them

Yes indeed the best things in life are "FREE" but the thing is that u have to change your mindset of the "THINGS".....For example there are to types of things one which can be obtained only by purchasing etc...the other by simply creating your own "Stuff" well like read this poem written by me...
The moon belongs to everyone
The best things in life are free,
The stars belong to everyone
They gleam there for you and me.
The flowers in Spring,
The robins that sing,
The sunbeams that shine
They're yours,
They're mine!
And love can come to everyone,
The best things in life are free.
