The chase is fascinating - I think it is only healthy that there should be a bit of a chase involved - it shouldn't be too easy to get the girl you want - the chase is great for learning about them - and it stands you in very good stead as you have learnt a lot about the girl in question. The chase can last days or weeks - depending on the intensity of your meetings together. Too long a chase can however give the impression that you are either not interested enough or too insecure to ask the girl out...

We all seem to long for what we can't have, so if the guy's really batting above his average then the length of the chase can be anything. The length of time a chap spends chasing a girl can be misleading, though - if they spend ages, it doesn't necessarily mean they really like them: it could just be that the girl gave them a glimmer of a shot, and single guys just can't let things like that go!

some guys like the chase coz it means many things to them such as you are not willing to give it away to anyone, you appear more interesting to them and it makes things seem more exciting to them. There is not a limit on how long the chase lasts but my suggestion is dont make it too long coz they will get bored and go onto something/someone else, but at the same time dont give it too soon let them know that you are interested in them but still make them chase.

Guys like the chase because they always want what they can't have but if that's what it is is a chase then as soon as he gets what he wants he dont' want it anymore because he can have it if you can understand that.

Guys like the chase for the same reason that they like video games, it s the rush they get.

The chase can depend on people and locations and the longer the chase the better the catch ;)

It's all about the thrill of the chase, it's almost like a battle of wills and who will emerge the winner...everything guys do is somewhat competitive, and trust me they dont want to lose...so they will continue the chase to the very end.

Its the challenge. Lenght of chase prob depends on how much the other party holds off or until another target comes along.
For some once they have "won" they move on as they arein the "having fun stage".

I think the fun is in the chase, but not when it goes on and on and so forth. When guys get the girl they want ,they tend to in my experiences play further games and even when they have your phone number, they then decide to take a week to call you!I think they leave it longer to make a move when they like you A LOT.The chase can go on for weeks, sometimes months, and even when your together.they like to keep girls on their toes!

The longer the chase the more the man wants her. The longer it takes the more that is built up for deployment.>

why do you only include guys in this? there are girls like this too...chasing and flirting is fun for everyone...once you've captured whatever you are hunting...the thrill can sometimes be lessened...before you were chasing the unknown now you have the known...all people are different here not just guys...;0)
