Do you have ANY idea where he was stationed?
State? Name of Base or installation?

Once you figure that out there is a "Locator Service" on the bases to help people find individual Marines. Being a casualty, may make it a little more difficult as they are not going to just release info about a fallen Marine to just anyone.

If there is a Marine Recruiting Office near you you may start there. Although not their job, recruiters can often find out, or at least point you in the general direction to getting your questions answered.

It can't be too difficult to figure out where he was stationed, there aren't many Marine Corps installations to choose from. I think there may be a website to help locate Marines as well.
