Once the site of the Kemper Open, this course in Charlotte fell out of favor with the PGA players a couple of decades ago, causing the Kemper to move to its current location at Congressional, near D.C.

Fazio was recently brought in by the members (one of whom is also heavily involved with the Masters Tournament) to revamp the layout, and he did a superb job, the PGA Tour will be returning to Quail Hollow this year with the second-richest purse on the tour.
