I would say the best present for children everywhere is the one thing that they want the most no matter how big or small or expensive or inexpensive out of everything my children want the things they want the most are the small things that i wont let them buy throughout the year. stupid things like playdough and a certain barbie that may only cost 5 dollars or so that i keep telling them "oh not today maybe next time" to children believe it or not its the little things that count!

DVD's are always a nice gift, or CD's.
Clothes, the stuff in the school supplies aisle.
I was a single mom, and had jip or a long time.
I had to get creative.
Walk around walmart, and think "different" instead of the same psp or xbox. Creativity sometimes is just as good.
Good Luck and God Bless

I have two children, one is getting a go kart and the other is getting a trike with a trailer. They are getting an outdoor play centre, and some stocking stuff.
One thing we make sure we do every year is make them a present, and get them to make us one. This year we are making them an A3 photo frame, with painted frames, and coloured cardboard as backing. This is so we can display all the artwork they want to display, and if it is smaller than the A3 size, the coloured card will act as a border.

My son wants a GameBoy and my daughter wants a Nintendo DS. So that's what Santa is bringing them for their big gifts. As for presents from Mommy, they are getting clothes and a family game board that we play together on Friday nights.

My daughter has just had her 1st birthday so our house is swamped in toys already. For Christmas this year I am asking family to give mainly money that I can put into her bank account as she has way too many toys already. No doubt she'll get toys anyway though.

for my four year old we are getting him a bigger bike this year as his main present. my 2 yr old I have no idea, and my 16 yr old wants his Letterman's jacket.(that one depends on how much they cost) we usually only spend about $100-150 dollars on each kid trying to keep things fair. and I refuse to go into debt for presents so if we can't pay for it with cash we don't buy it. and besides our kids get things all year round, they don't need tons of presents at Christmas. it is just more for me to find room for.
