I would like some input on this situation. There is this guy that likes to stare and smile at me everytime that I go to this store. I would say this has been going on for maybe 2 months. Finally he goes ahead and gives my friend his number for me to call him. So I gave him a call the next evening and it was a cell phone number. The phone rang for a while and then it said the customer was unavailable. So I called back because I wasn't sure if I had dialed the right number and I got the same thing. So I figured that either his phone was disconnected or he's having problems with his phone. So then he call's me back about 10 minutes later and asked who this was. So I told him and I'm not sure if he hung up or if he's having a problem with his phone because the line went dead. So I called back about 30 minutes later and I got that same unavailable thing again. I'm confused because he didn't call me back! Why would he go through all of that to give me the # and not call back?

Its one of three things either he has a girlfriend and turns his phone off when he is around her or he was having problems with his phone or he has to turn off his phone at work and called the number when he was on a break. You did call him so now he knows your int rested dint assume that he is playing games until you have time to talk to him. Just go back in the store like you have for the last 2 months and see what happens.You made your phone calls now let him make a move.If he doesn't call back then all you wasted was a few minutes making a phone calls Its better than ending up with him playing games.

I think he is playing mind games, but hey, if his phone did cut out, maybe that's why he didn't call you back. Just go in to the store some time joke about him not calling you back and making you do all the work. Then ask him out.

Girl, the guy doesn't have the balls to meet you up face to face so ditch him. If he was serious, he wouldn't give you a faulty number. He missed his opportunity so tough luck on his part. But if you really like him, then walk up to him and chit chat until you're ready to proceed from there. Also, if it wasn't his fault (phone), he would walk up to you and tell you, even apologise.

Yup you got that right sista, he's palying mind games. Why do you want your first true interaction to be over the phone?? He's too scared to approach you face to face?? If this is the situation, then there can be no solid MEANINGFUL relationship with him.
Try being friends with him first, and make sure its face to face!!

i,ve been through something like that before, and usually it,s because this older man has a girlfriend that he lives with or a wife.. don,t even let yourself go there with this man he,s just playing games.and he will try to explain to you some type of stupid excuss. it wront be true.. girl you will meet so many other people in you life. don.t get caught up in his games.older man like to play games with younger girls. leave him alone..
