Does living in the silence of the desert bring one closer to God and has this been lost by settling these People?

we have many bedouiins in israel ,they still live a nomad life,if you look on the map you would find most in beersheba and outskirts of the town .down in eilat.they live in black like tents,they raise herds of goats,sheep and camels.and then there are bedouins ,who live in houses and have all the comforts just like any person.from mikhal in israel.

there is now a few Bedouins in the desert .. their child grown up and enter the schools and the colleges, they are now scientist and very rich and have homes in the cities .
