You mention the Islamic songs. It's interesting to know you are listening to something that is nearly unknown to Westerners.

I wonder where you heard it and maybe you can share it with us here.

I really doubt what you say about hearing the words mentioned in different songs because especially in Arabic poems ideas are rarely the same and words almost never repeat.

But the more important idea in your question is the relationship between girls and boys. I want you to look at the words you use (are they allowed) so i will ask you this: Who is gonna stop them?!!! , If they decide to talk they will, so there is no restriction in the sense you are making it to be . Islam promotes self piety.
If you know what your doing is wrong then its your judgment to do it or to not. Islam promotes honesty in what an individual does and self choice of right and wrong is an individual's call!

the village well?!!!! h ahahahaha!.. Where did you learn arab geography and civilization from the stone age?.. Wasnt there an article in yahoo yesterday about Dubai building the tallest tower in the world.. The middle east is just as modern as any western city and in some places more so.. They have oil money to burn.. There is no village well unless you consider the dancing fountains in our upscale modern mall a village well.. haha!
OH.. and to answer your original question.. they dont meet at the well... they use bluetooth technology to ping others around the fountain in the malls... haha!

The concept of "dating" is not allowed in Islam. The reason? Because we believe that God has made for each and every one of us our soul mates, and he will make us come together and meet when the time is right. And the words "soul mates" is actually literal, because we believe our souls would meet up with our loved ones before we were born into this world. Also, a hadith states that when there is a man and a woman alone together, the third person with them is alway the devil. What this means is that when your alone, and no one is around you, it is much harder to fight temptation and that can cause sexual desire, which is only meant for husband and wife.

I hope this answered your question.

It depends on where in the world. It depends on how strong or weak their ridiculous faith is. Try being a muslim girl in Saudi and see how far you get. Even worse, volunteer to live in Afghanistan when the taliban are in charge. Eeeek!
