You must be American. In that case, just buy whatever - something from California should be fine. They're all going to be owned by Mondavi eventually anyway.

Robert Mondavi does not own any wineries any more. He and his public corporation sold to Constellation a large corporate conglomerate in wine and spirits over two years ago. His children and brother still own wine property, but the Mondavi everybody associates with wine, is no longer in the business except as a visionary and philanthropist. I would be more worried that the Gallos will buy up everything over Mondavi. They are a larger company now.
