A good friend told me i should wait for Bakra Eid and tell them why Muslims are celebrating and then give them gifts.

Bakra eid you must be of Indian origin.Anyhow you remember that to promote love be open with all and share in the happiness of all that way they will share in your happiness too and the world would be a lovely place to be in.Gently do dawah all the time but in an intelligent and beautiful way that promotes love, peace and harmony and not feelings of animosity or hatred.Islam is very clear on promoting interfaith harmony. It facilitates communication and one is better able to understand each other.Thats my humble opinion I may be wrong find out from an alim too.

at the start don't be dismayed by capacity of each and every of the assaults you notice right here against Islam. As you will locate all such messages are crammed with lack of know-how and assumptions that are baseless. i'm an American who embraced Islam and the terrific advice i promises is to study up on the fundamentals of Islam first. be effective first & suitable that it is the determination you have the opt to make. it won't be executed for every physique's sake, yet incredibly in basic terms to delight Allah swt. it incredibly is needed which you will get networking with a team of sisters on your community section who can sit down with you and communicate issues. Many you will locate would be from foreign places, yet many will additionally be born and raised interior the united kingdom and additionally British converts, so as that they are going to understand your viewpoint terrific. to incredibly convert all you should do is say the statement of religion, ideally on the mosque with witnesses. Then attempt and attend any training they supply. you will locate all of it very new, even somewhat perplexing interior the initiating, yet thats completely commonplace. Dont attempt to be a "great-muslim" genuine away. in case you % to incorporate Islam, nurture your new found faith by capacity of coaching your self and inshallah (God prepared) it is going to advance. terrific of superb fortune.

Don't break up with Ur family (if u do that's the harm )but also don't celebrate with them in Christian celebrations , be at the middle if u think they will upset from u if u don't buy gifts for them . Do it and take step forward to show them what Islam is the religion of peace . God Almighty says in his Great Book ( If they try to deviate u then make them Just Ur friends at the life ) God mean Ur parents , i think Ur family don't wanna deviate u . Keep in touch with them .

what I think is best, is that whoever Allah guides, there is no misguidance, and whoever Allah leave astray there is no guidance. Allah has perfected the religion of Islam, and completed His favors on us. As far as giving gifts, a gift is a sign of kindness, and all acts of worship begins with correct knowledge and intentions. So if your intention is to please Allah, and you know that "Christmas", is not mentioned in the Qur'an or found amongst the "Sahih", collections of hadiths. Then that may be the criterion that you use, insha'Allah, to determine your choice of actions.I have Christians throughout my family,I give them gifts randomly, being careful to not include myself in any actions that is inclusive of what they worship besides Allah.

* I do not celebrate Birthdays
* I do not celebrate Christmas
* I do not celebrate Holloween

* I only celebrate our 2 byrams (or eid) festivals(whatever you want to call them)

* I DO CELEBRATE the 4th of July because I am an American, Veterans day & labor day.

I do pay my employees the days that they observe and allow them to leave work or not show up as well as Muslim Holidays, eventhough ALL MY EMPLOYEES ARE CHRISTIANS :)

I give Ramadan Bonus though :) AND END OF THE YEAR BONUS (The Dec 1st) , but no Christmas Bonus
