I have never had a problem with the car before until last month when I ran out of oil on the motorway- the engine started smoking and making a horrible crunching noise. I just managesd to get home in that state with the car cutting out iintermittently by the end. Now the car will start but makes a horrible noise and I wouldn't fell comfortable moving it. I want to sell it but cannot be bothered to get it repared first. Is it worth anything? If so what would be a good price to go for. The Mileage is quite high I seem to remember.

The engine seems to be going in it if not already gone so the best thing to do and honest is to scrap it you couldn't very well sell it and not let on to the buyer that you just blown the engine so it is really worth scrap money, £100

You have a 1.25? with engine problems and high mileage and MOT and tax for two months. What reg is it?

Its not worth anything to be honest. Get it checked to see how much the repair cost. It might be worth dismantling the car and selling parts on eBay.

Lights, doors, bonnet, seats can get you a few bob.

You forgot the substantial bit - the coverage. without tax or MOT you are able to't be insured the two - so any injury you do with the motor vehicle will must be paid out of your person pocket and except you have the unusual million ££ you are able to wipe ot i a crash - you like that too. If the motor vehicle is in Bristol, and that i'm specific there are MOT attempting out stations there - you may get the MOT achieved (must be comparable or greater low fee than in London), as quickly as you have MOT you may get insured and taxed - tax at any positioned up place of work in case you have the motor vehicle registration information (you ought to have in case you have merely offered the motor vehicle) and then off you pass. it would take a morning to type all that out. the guidelines are an identical by potential of how despite public street youchronic on - highway, A street or B street, or maybe leaving the motor vehicle on the line outdoors your place. the different decision is to get a trailer and take it to London on that

2 b honest with high mileage you would be better of getting a second hand engine should cost between £100-£125 and they are pretty easy to change over and a decent garage would charge you £100 so a couple of hundred and then you stand a better chance of selling the car ....good luck

How old is the car? Doesn't sound it would be worth much. If you can afford it, give it to some bloke who's studying car mechanics.
