i wrote someone has black hair in my story but i can't write that. i have to like instead of using yellow, write honey colored. does anybody have an idea on how to write another way of saying black? thanks so much.

You would say "raven-colored hair" which is black hair.

I'd say something like "hair the color of night" or raven (as someone suggested).

Being shadeblind, I might suggest using the term, "midnight blue" or glossy dark...
