I never claimed any of those things. I do know however that Darwin's theory revolves completely around cell mutations that GAIN information and to this day there has never been a single cell mutation that GAINED information...only losses of information and that is why we have different types of animals in a species...wolves and dogs are still both dogs. Ask any scientist for an example of a cell mutation that gained information...they are totally clueless. There are other problems too...see www.answersingenesis.org I am a scientist who used to be an atheist so believe me, I love science...but God fits right in with it.

No. They are not the same people. The Copernican Revolution occured at the same time as the Reformation, and was a revolt against Catholic (Aristotelian) dogma. These same Protestant scientists ushered in the Enlightenment. The then began studying the Earth in great detail and discovered that there were far more species on Earth than could ever have fit on the ark. At this point, a subset rejected their observations, took a giant step backwards, and decided that anything that contradicted the Bible was wrong. The current dogmatists are not the same as the previous dogmatisrs.
As an aside, unrelated to the question, but in rebuttal to another answer, genetic duplications result in an increase in information. Many genes are duplicated and if one copy mutates, information is clearly gained. Frogs have four times as many genes as humans since they need variants that work over a broader temperature range. Numerous human genes are variations on a theme: the immunoglobulin gene superfamily, the pancreatic/ salivary amylase gene complex, and the homeobox genes for example. The statement that no mutation results in a increase of information is patently false and a piece of "Scientific" Creationist dogma.

Charles Darwin came up with a theory. It is not proven. He based it on physical observation of animals and not on their genetic makeup. For the theory to be true, species needed to evolve over long periods of time. Actual fossil record suggests this never took place. Fossil evidence supports punctuated equilibrium. I.e. species are found stable for millions of years and suddenly disappears only to find new but much younger similar specie.
I believe disappearance of specie is a matter of extinction and not evolution.
In any case, science has failed to defeat religion from the very first question. Where did the universe come from? The most accepted scientific view is that it began at the big bang. The big bang is supported by the red color of distant stars. The red colour or "red shift" as the scientists prefer calling it suggest those stars are moving away from us. If they are moving away from our solar system and we are moving away from them then there must have been a big bang.
My problem with this theory is that it works contrary to gravity. Gravitational calculations suggest some areas of the universe have such intense gravity where by spaces between atomic sub particles collapse. This results into what are called "black holes". Calculations suggest there is a sphere around a black hole called the "event horizon" beyond which even if you traveled at the speed of light, you cannot escape the gravity.
A universe beginning at one point would result into such gravity whereby NO MATTER how strong the bang, matter would not escape.

Too right! As scientific knowledge advances, God must retreat. It has happened again and again, with each of the things you mentioned. The struggle over biological evolution, between the forces of religious ignorance and those of scientific enlightenment, is still being waged. But science will win this one, too, and the religious will, in the end, have backpeddled once again.
And after the dust has settled, you'll hear a chorus rise up from among the religious folk, as they sing that they never once doubted evolution... but God was behind it all directing each mutation and deciding which direction evolutionary adaptations would follow. It's the bandage the religious put on their metaphysical wounds after their doctrine has fallen in battle.

sorry but it was scientist of that time that believed that. as scientist once believed urianum is worthless, man could not traval more then 25 miles per hour, the the white race was supreme of the races (an evolutionist belief) .that leeches can heal people. all teachings of scientist. which all are wrong. the bible declears that the earth was round , never said it was center of universe. (the bible speaks of the sun going from east to west which is very true) .

Unfortunately, ignorance is the most powerful force in the universe. People will swallow just about any pile of crap as long as it conforms to their deeply held misconceptions.

God created everything, people included. Your talking about something that GOD created that we will never be able to understand, you can guess, and try to figure it out, but the universe and everything in it is God's domain.
