I have a male rotti & he destroys every toy I give him.
I have tried bones (even pig heads) but he gets through them in 5 mins
He loved the doggy dongs but as soon as the food is finished he eats the dong in about 10 mins

I have another dog & they get along fine but the rotti steals all of the toys & rips them apart

Any ideas on what else I can try?

The super sized kongs usually seem to be one of the toughest brand name toys out there and I've only known one dog to be able to destroy them on a regular basis. He's my friend's 6-7 year old male pit bull who has graduated from kongs to playing with motorcycle tires and bricks.

The kongs worked best when they stuffed the whole thing with peanut butter. It kept him really busy for a long time but he would destroy it once the peanut butter was gone. They basically had to keep checking on his progress with the peanut butter and either refill it immediately or take it away once it was empty. Eventually he destroyed them all anyway. It got really expensive replacing those things.

The bricks have worn down his teeth and he's still able to break them up into smaller bits. He tosses them in the air like a ball. It's insane. I really don't think a brick is something you should give your dog but my friends have given up on most everything else. They let him play with one once in awhile but usually because he finds them on his own when he's outside. The tires work well for him and are much better for his teeth but I doubt they're all that safe for a dog to be chewing on all day long. He can still tear pieces off but it lasts longer than the kongs.

They've spoken to a few specialists (the dog has a couple of "issues") and all anyone can tell them is to buy a kong and fill it with peanut butter. At this point, their only options seem to be looking into trying to find other random industrial materials, the less toxic the better (obviously). Looks like you may be in the same boat.

Yes, I had this problem and I got what was called a Bully Boy. It is a chew made from the erctile tissue in a bulls reproductive organs. Needless to say, the dog loved it and in the year I have had it he hasn't been able to do much to destroy it.
I have pasted a link below for something with a different name, but it seems to be the same thing:

Mine to the same. Only toy my female does not destroy completely is a tennis ball. She peels of the outer green down to the rubber but within a week or so it falls apart. All the dogs I've had destroyed their toys!

the minute you gave your dog the 1st toy was probably the worst thing you could have done. Once they start learning to chew things to bits, rip toys apart, tug-a-war with whatever, pull clothes off the line etc etc...DONT KEEP REPLACING THE TOYS its just confusing the dog...you go cranky at him for doing it & then in his doggy mind you reward him by giving him another toy...take them away completely.....what he needs is MORE OF YOUR TIME IN THE WAY OF EXCERSING...WALKING, RUNNING IN WIDE OPEN AREAS, OUT IN THE CAR - EVEN JUST DOWN THE SHOPS..have him with you as much as you can...until they get past the puppy teething stage/s ..just like an infant child growing into a troublesome & demanding toddler...NOW YOU'VE GOT DOUBLE THE PROBLEM BY HAVING TO 'BREAK' HIM OUT OF THE HABIT you actually got him into...
you need to make TIME & spend it as much as possible with him...WEAR HIM OUT SOMEHOW if it's not too late according to his age...the bonus is...you get out & about & lotza excersise as well & it might sound silly...but it's just like spending that 'QUALITY TIME' with any young child....maybe you dont have kids, maybe you do...but if you dont....in my experience, toddlers & pups alike eventually do tame - by giving them attention..but the right attention...YOU (that's all they know & that's all the good influence they need)
good luck :)

There are a great range of cheap dog toys at Big W, from rubber balls that squeak thru to the kong toys (Rubber tug of war style toys.)
I had the same problem with my dog until I got her a rubber ball and a rubber kong toy.

Hey,
This is a good link for downloading Family Farm pc for free: http://bit.ly/1qXIJEV

it's completely free and it's very fast to install
In this videogame you have to tend the garden, grow plants and keep the henhouse. The diverse tasks will be carried out by your own workers that will help the player in this duty.
Give it a try.

Dogs like to run. I don't know where you live, (farm or one bedroom apartment), but you need to let your dog burn off some of that energy. My buddy and I got a puppy each from the same litter and we take them to the woods and let them run free and play. When I get home, all he wants to do is sleep! lol
