Assuming the tape was found on it's own, it means somebody had to remove it from the tape player.

it's a mystery, because if he did made that recorded tape on his own and the gunshot that killed him was heard on the tape then who stopped the recording....... if the man really recorded it on his own then it would have continue recording till it ran out but it stopped right after the gunshot..... so a foulplay is possible...... someone might have made him say those things and was shot after that......the gun was placed in his hands making it look like a suicide......

If he had shot himself then the gun would've been in the room with him. As there was no evidence (apart from the tape) you would have to assume that the 'Suicide Note' was made under duress, or faked, and that he was then shot.

wel, the man was making the tape, but it never said that he would shoot himself, so maby he was shot from behind and the murder put the gun in the mans hands.and the man might not have had the gun in his hands while he was making the tape.

Sounds like an episode from series 1 of CSI, where it was murder and the tape had been faked.

maybe his plan didn't involve a gun, what if he took and overdose before making the tape. but the killer didn't know this and decided to speed things up....

Or was he shot in the back while talking into the tape recorder....

As someone else said, the tape was on it's own, there was no tape recorder present, meaning someone had removed the recorder.

Had someone stopped the tape before the end?

is it because the tape player was switched off after the gun shot?

If he had recorded it himself, there would be more than the gunshot sound. There would be the shot, then the sound of the body falling to the ground.
