Gagen, you and your new bride will probably be physically and mentally exhausted by the time the wedding is over and yu get to your honeymoon destination. Whether you two are 'new' to marital intimacy or not, it might be a good night to just cuddle and get your first good night's sleep in weeks ... Then, in the morning, when you are both rested and fresh, surprise her with a room service chamapgne breakfast including flowers, bubble bath basket, and maybe even some pretty lacy little things ... feed her strawberries while you bathe her

As for the gift...I love presents, and I especially appreciate expensive presents! but on my wedding I want the gift of love...but I do want it to be tangible. Nothing would mean more to me than a heart felt poem written by my soon to be husband, preferably in a beautiful frame, maybe with some of the pressed flowers from my bouquet. Of course I understand that the gift of love goes both ways, so dont worry Im returning the favor...in the form of an LCD tv, because we all know that a marriage is a union between a man, a woman, and occassionally a little John Madden. Congrats on your pending nuptials, I hope all goes well!

We did not exchange gifts because we had such a big wedding (BIG for us anyway) and spent so much money, but here is what we did after we left the wedding....the limo dropped us off at home, I took off that damn dress (LOL), we took a bubble bath together, ate our leftover food from the reception, and opened all our presents together. Then, the usual wedding night activities of a bride and groom lol.
Just have fun and do what YOU and your bride want to do.

your wedding night isn't about gifts...she'll get plenty of those from the guests. Make arrangements at a nice hotel - honeymoon suite, champagne, jacuzzi and take the time to focus on each other because before you know it, you'll be back in the real world with real responsibilities. As for useful tips.....don't get drunk at the reception. Have Fun.

Encourage your family and your bridal party to not mess up your room (such as short sheeting your bed and such). Prepare for exhaustion but use this time to let her know you love her by doing the little things she enjoys. Does she like her hair brushed or her hands rubbed or her neck kissed? Is there a favorite wine or chocolate that will make her smile and let her know that you are catering to her? Enjoy those crisp sheets and some time away from your family and friends and pamper each other, but make your plans flexible, you never know if she has something planned for you also.

Buy her lots of little things that you have noticed she wants or needs or one really big thing (jewlery) that she can keep as a momento of your wedding night!

Forget the gifts and the fluff, pal........women don't want that. Allow what you feel inside come through.

All you need to do is be yourself and show her a good time. Some adult toys wouldn't go astray
