If it is true than why is squash a veggie?

Broccoli flowers to make seeds. I know you didn't clone it .

The fact is, all plants have seeds. But not all plants produce "fruits" to carry them.

What about beans, peas, nuts etc. What would you call them?

Vegetables also have seeds. Take corn, for example. The kernals of corn that we eat are the seeds of the corn plant. Beans are also seeds.

I used to grow vegetables(broccoli and cauliflower) in a garden and I don't recall growing them from clones.

It isn't! Squash and pumpkin, like tomatoes, are all fruits.

veggies also have seeds: tomatoes, pumpkin. peppers, cucumber, All have seeds
