My 4 yr old son when through the same thing. And i did too as a child. I used to find if you rub them at night it seems to get the blood flowing again and takes away the pain. My doctor said it was growing pains too. But they will grow out of it. My lad only had these for a few weeks. You will find some activities before bed should be reduced. Let him have a warm bath before bed relax all muscles. or just lie in bed for a half an hour before sleeping. This works for my son. Good Luck!

This happened to my 4yr old not long ago.check my questions. He was limping and said his legs were very sore. Apparently the doctor said it was caused by a virus,he had a hip ultrasound which showed nothing. It lasted about 3 weeks,I gave him nurofen a anti inflammatory which seemed to help. Everyone else said it was growing pains. Try not to worry too much,I know I did hopefully its the same thing my boy had.All the best.
Also the doctor told me she had seen 5 cases of this in the last few weeks and she said the kids were mostly complaining during the night and would be bawling at the doctors from pain.

does he drink milk, is he very active is so, that might be the problem. give him vitamins. make sure he eats more veggies. and make sure he's milk is not too cold when being served. Don't let him walk around home with out any socks or slippers because the cold floors might have something to do with it too. but good luck with the baby I pray that it is nothing serious. God Bless. Take Care

You must be so scared! Hopefully it is just growing pains.
I remember when the doctor thought my daughter who was one year old was walking wrong and sent me to the emergency room for X-rays and then another test to see if it was bone cancer. I was terrified. Turned out to be that she was just a little bow legged.

look dear,
i have a 01 year and 3 months old little girl, she too have pain, as you very well know, when a baby starts run on his or her foots, they want to go fast, as they are happy to walk, and full day they walk and walk only at the time of sleeping they get rest,
so whenever his rest time i mean sleeping time in day or night, just give him some relax, i mean, just massage on his legs with oil and with your hands too, this will relax him, donot give him any medician or else, just try to relax him by full day workings (as baby play is their working, which is much harder than us) because how much you can run in this age, they run double of it in just this time, my mother in law says this.
on bathing time massage with oil is very good for strong bones, do massage only this will help your baby to come out of these pains.
may God bless him
bye
take care

Oh my my son was the same way, sounds like your son has juvenile arthritis..I was so sad seeing my son in pain all the time.
It took a while for the doctors to diagnose him... I hope everything is ok with your little boy..Don't listen to them if they tell you it's growing pains, that is BULLS***
