Have considered old shape Scenic, and Multipla but keen to here about reliabilty and any major problems with either.

If u can pay approx £10000, Toyota Corolla Verso is the best in this classification.

The Multipla's great, particularly for the driver - you can't see the outside at all from the driver's seat!

If you're only going to spend £6k on a used MPV you can't expect perfect reliability whatever you buy. In my experience the Multipla's not great in this respect but at least you know the dashboard warning lights are all working!

One downside with the Multipla - other Multipla owners tend to wave when they pass you

Vauxhall Zafiras are coming down in price an you might just get one. 7 seat versatility and more reliable than a renault. I had a scenic and every now and then it woudl get engine management problems and had to go back to the dealer
