That's a hard question because many confuse infatuation for true love. Our emotions run wild many times when we meet a new friend.
For me it was not the one that I couldn't sleep over that was the one for me. My peace never left me but I knew that I knew I loved that guy.
Anything that takes me away from peace I don't consider to be a sign of something for me. Even if it's thoughts of love that torment me. LOL!

when the question is no longer a question in your mind. and when you are financially secure, sounds kinda shallow, but life is expensive, multiply it by two, then add the cost of furniture, housing, clothing, food, phone bill, utilities, two cars, believe it or not,dating gets more expensive (especially if you have kids later) because the same old places are just that, or they are great for single people, but maybe not so much for marrieds. take a look at your guys' favorite places to hang out, filled with married people, or single people? that too will probably give you a great idea if you BOTH are mature enough for marraige. realize too that people change. not just them, but you too. things that are fine now, may not be later, and vice versa. opinions change. you and that other person have to be willing to GROW ("change") together. and you can ask any married person, thats a VERY HARD thing to do. people often want what they cant have, and in a marraige, a lot of time thats independence. marraige is all co-dependence, and you BOTH have to give and take.

It's not that hard to tell. With me it was being so happy and full of life when he was around me. Just seeing him smile every morning did it for me, but then there's the pain of when he's not there. You miss him more than you could imagine. When you experience this you know that you are in love and he is the one you want to spend the rest of you life with.

It seems that it's too late to make fun of the Matrix.
I would imagine that you can't get this person out of your mind. All you think about is the next time you can see them. When your with them everything is bliss. You get extremely jealous of any of the opposite sex talking to that person.

If they bring you flowers/smile/wink and ask you out .. run like hell.
