I think one problem many people have with relationships is the expectation that they can have no sexual experience and expect to marry someone and just hope for the best. Every once in a while here on YA there's a question about bizarre, clashing sexual attitudes in people's marriages. It really doesn't matter. There is no reason whatsoever to not be sexual unless you just feel that way. There is no rule or law, nor should there be. You will be a better person, a better mate, a better lover and a better spouse if you have experience and a mature, healthy attitude towards it. I'm male and it may surprise you to hear it, but the best part of sex to me is the intimacy - being THAT close with a woman I love.

I have 2 nieces that were virgins til they were 30 years old, and the youngest was on her wedding day. The one 2 years older got with a guy that took her virginity 2 months before they married(she is mentally challenged and he knew it, he is an @ss to her now too). It wasn't easy for the youngest, but she decided that she would remain pure until she got married.
Just make sure that you don't get in a situation where it is so tempting. Try to stay where there are other people around. It will be hard, but worth it in the long run.

Well that is really a tough one. I had that kind of principle before and I have never had sex until I was 21. But there are a lot of things that drive you into sex. But if you are determined to do it, It would be your decision and you can act accordingly.
It is not going to be easy and some times it would be unfair for you if you can't find your mate after all years of abstain.
You can postpone the starting time of doing sex, but it is unlikely to do sex only after marriage.

Just remember d morale values. Sex should b enjoyed only after marriage otherwise d charm goes.Before marriage if u get into all this mess nd suppose ur marriage does not happen with same boy/girl u hve a guilt feeling throughout ur life of playing with someones emotions.

that's a very tough goal to attain, hence that is why many don't wait, whether it be they aren't christian or their hormones get the best of them. My advice for anyone trying to abstain from sex, is to avoid situations in which it is easy to fall into that trap. If this person has a gf or bf, it might be a good idea to not let each other get past kissing, or if its too tempting to not kiss at all. Another thing is to masturbate. Masturbation is a normal and healthy practice, and so when a person masturbates it satiates that sexual urge for a while, clearing the desire for sex. Also if you are christian, pray for god to help you calm your sexual urges.

A person needs self control to keep his / her life clean. Self control is achieved by a regulated life and practising creative arts such as music, dance, painting, drawing, cooking , stiching etc. Yoga helps tremendously.
1.In day time have food each four hours.
2.Have sound sleep of seven hours at night only.
3. Listen to good music before going to bed , such as sitar, sarod, flute, santoor etc.
4. Daily one hour mathematics also helps.

Always do according to what mind says and not your heart.
Mind knows clearly what is right & wrong, but heart dosen`t.
Read good books & watch good movies. Avoid reading pronography books and watching dirty films.
Be with a circle of good friends. If you find your friends character is not good avoid them or else the influence of their charcter will have a significant imapact on your character too.
A persons morale increases when he / she is surrounded by good friends.

of course. if they don't want to have sex before marriage don't give in to temptations. there will be people out there that will try to seduce them but as long as they keep all clothes on they will be fine. abstinence is obtained through self will
