Well, for christians, celebrating Jesus' life would be a very personal thing, as it's up to the person to live a life pleasing to God. If you live a God centred life, following in Jesus' footsteps, you are celebrating and appreciating the life Jesus led.
I guess alot more emphasis on celebrating His birth is more commonly seen, because Christmas is known as a festive season worldwide, and other things like gifts exchange and shopping have become associated with this day. So it really seems like the whole world celebrates Christmas, but no one celebrates His life.

Mainstream Christianity celebrates what the 3 wise men did. They brought presents to Jesus when he was in the manger with Mary. Most people celebrate present-giving and "Santa Claus" more than anything. Even Atheists celebrate Christmas. I celebrate it at heart mostly, and thank God that the Messiah was born. It's unfortunate what Christmas has turned into. The birth of Christ has been replaced with "clearance sales" at the store. That's what most of America celebrates, Santa Claus and clearance sales, and time off from work. And that's the brutal truth.

What people are you asking about? There are people who celebrate the life of Jesus Christ throughout the year.
Perhaps those that don't have not yet experienced the regeneration of their lives that comes with propitiation of ones sins?

Christmas is not Jesus' birthday. The bible does not say anything about Jesus being born on Christmas. In fact, the Christmas tree was condemned by Jeremiah the prophet in the 10th chapter of the book of Jeremiah nearly 300 years before Chist was born.

Cuz most people don't celebrate Christmas for Jesus, they like exchanging gifts. Besides, Dec. 25 wasn't really his birthday anyway.
