How can one person be so dedicated and in love with you one week, and then says she doesnt love you and wants to be single the next. ? after a 4 year relationship.

if someone can have a really close relationship with you, as a couple reach until deep intimacy and next thing you know he says that he doesn't feel you and just see you as a "friend"! then yeah...that also can happen.

I cannot offer an explanation since I do not know the situation. I know though that sometimes there are signs we choose to ignore, because we women feed on hope, for the most part of us anyway.
The other side of the coin is that some men cannot face their feelings or their fears, and those build up until eventually they are out of your life too fast to leave any valid explanations.
And sometimes, it's a little of both. It is a good question to put to him directly though, and I hope you will. 4 years is a huge emotional investment and you must be shell-shocked and completely devastated. Hang in there.

4 years? Were you married? (If no, perhaps that is the problem. She got tired of waiting.) Or she learned you were not "Mr. Right" for her. Be glad no kids were involved. If kids were involved, it would have been tragic. Sorry. Just move on.
