I wish to visit Ooty . how to go from Coimbtore to Ooty?

Train fares for train-1013(Lokmanya TT - coimbatore)
2AC : Rs.1699
3AC : Rs.1189
SL : Rs.433
Timings: Depart 10.30 pm Arrival at coimbatore 6.30 am(3 rd day)
Train fares for train-1081(CST - Kanyakumari)
2AC : Rs.1732
3AC : Rs.1211
SL : Rs.441
Timings: Depart 3.45 pm Arrival at coimbatore 00.05 am(3 rd day or 2nd night)
There are also other few trains.
To go to Ooty:
Ooty is just around 80 kms. There is morning train from coimbatore to mettupalayam(train no:2671) at 5.00 am. It reaches mettupalayam at 6.15 am. From mettupalayam there is a hill train to ooty at 7 am daily. but it is u book for hill train earlier.
There are also so many govt buses from coimbatore to ooty for every 1/2 an hour. it takes around 3hrs.its a scenic route. Or u can hire a taxi.
