What is the deal with Krishna and Radha? I mean loving his aunt. That's his aunt.?

Some one knowledgeable, Krishna was in love with Radha I believe. But their relationship is nephew and aunt, isn't that wrong to begin with? What kind of love was it? I want to know about the love and that also follows by physical desire or becomes sexual. As far as I understand, they were playing around. The way he was playing with her and her friends wasn't more like girlfriend and boyfriend relationship. Will someone explain all these to me and clear it up? Thank you a bunch for replying me with good answer.

Krishna is described as the supreme Personality of Godhead. When we try to understand the pastimes of Krishna or Rama, we should remember this position of the Lord. Otherwise there is every tendency to misunderstand.

When we consider, Loving relationship among Humans, Humans are restricted from having loving relationship beyond Marriage, because this kind of relationship creates Hindrance in Spiritual Path. But to develop Loving relationship with God is advancement in Spiritual Path. No one, not even an animal is restricted from Loving God. No one can say that his wife or his husband cannot love God. So Love between Srimati Radha Rani and Lord Sri Krishna is based on love between a Devotee and God.

According to Vedic Scriptures, a person can develop Love or relationship towards God in 5 main rasa or Mellows - In passive State, In active State, As friend, As Parent or As Conjugal Love.

The eternal relation or position of all the Gopis including Srimati Radha Rani, in the Spiritual World is that of Conjugal love for God or Krishna. Hence when they appear with him on this planet, the same mood of Service to God is seen.

But in Such love, there is no sex, as we know of sex in this world. Vishwanath Chakravarti Thakur, One of great acharya has explained that the difference of that love and the love that we experience in this world is like that of Iron and Gold. Though both are metals, but there is a huge difference.

Srimati Radha Rani appeared in this world after the appearance of Lord Krishna. However, it is to be understood that in Love of Godhead there is no consideration of Age or Material Relationships. If this point is understood, then it becomes clear. We should not consider such relationship in terms of Human relationships.

Another example is given, just like, for an army to kill many soldiers in war is not considered wrong, but rather glorified and awarded. But for civilian to kill even a single Human, is punished severely and considered very sinful. Similarly, for any women or man to love some one outside married life is completely wrong, but for one to Love God, in any circumstances is glorified even by those great sages who have total control of all the senses.

Krishna's love with Radha and other gopis was not lustful or full of any physical sort

Krishna was barely 11 yrs old when he killed Kansa...and his so called love-stories started 3-4 yrs ago...means Krishna was only 7-9 years old when he played with Radha and other gopis

Innocent children's play has been depicted as love story by some.

Since Krishna had a vast loving aura...all were attracted to him and loved him... not only gopis but also old people even cows and deers.

So Krishna's love with gopis is beyond the physical. It is love of God towards its creation
