Someone has been mutilating dogs and dumping them in a clearing near my home.
They have been gutted, skinned, and their legs have been torn off. We have found at least twelve dogs that have been done this way. I am an animal lover and acts of cruelty of this degree horrified me! I don't know why anyone would do such a thing to innocent animals.

they are all some type of shaggy shephard dogs from what we could tell.
Just a few weeks earlier we found a puppy in that same clearing that was so skinny you couldn't even tell its gender it was so shriveled and underfed. You could see every bone in its body. I have seen dogs abused and starved before, but nothing like that. We had to take him to a vet and he was fed through an i.v

I'VE ALREADY REPORTED THEM TO THE POLICE!!! THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING IF THEY HAVE NO EVIDENCE! I CAN'T WAIT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS WITH A CAMERA AND TRY AND CATCH THEM DOING IT, I COULD BE HURT!

I know the feelings you are going thru at the moment.!!! You are most probably staying in an area that is occupied by african "mooty" murderers, as I call them, they are better known as 'Sangomas'. It was done in our area, Durban , South Africa, where they were slaughtering pitch black cats, gutting them, and castrating the male cats while they were alive!!!!!!!!! We immediately contacted the Health Department, our Police Station and Mayoress of our suburb.. We had an urgent community meeting, and formed a community watch. Patrolling during the day thru the night and caught these inhumane beings redhanded!!!! This is murder and the community needs to stick together. So sorry you had to see those poor animals in such a way, and especially the puppy, as we see so much of that in our rural areas. Hope I have helped in some way or other.

Have you contacted the police about this. I mean that is so totally wrong and sad. The person who has done this should be punish for a crime like that. I'm also an animal lover and when I read this, I cried and was so shock that some out there is hurting innocent creatures for no reason other than to laugh at it thinking it's funny. Please let me know if the person whose doing this is caught.

Get a hold of some places that rescue dogs. Tell them what's going on and where it's happening. Tell them you've called the police but they were no help. Call news stations up and tell them about it as well. Maybe if you get attention to it someone will step up and be of some help to catch that crazy person or person's doing this awful stuff. No, but the POLICE sure as hell could put cameras in the area! We PAY them so that they will take care of things like this!
Go to the police station and keep going in until they do something. You could also try going to city council members or the mayors office.

That is a really sick person that could do that and you should go 2 the police and report it 2 the animal welfare.
The person is really warped and sick in the head 2 do anything like that and who's 2 say he hasn't done nething like that 2 a human or would do it?
It's only a matter of time b4 they stops's getting their kicks from this and move on2 bigger thing's like kid's and adults

That person is a sick freak.
Just a warning - people who do that often escalate into killing human beings. It's a psychological need for power. You should report this to the police.

I agree you should , which I'm sure you already have , notify the police !!! Sounds like it could be some kind of cult or something . One things for sure they are some weird sick twisted people !!

then you need to do something to stop this, report to the police or an animal shelter. get your neighbours/ volunteers to do patrol around your area, it might help.

I would contact your local news station or newspaper and see if they will run a story about it. Maybe someone will come forward.
