Every religion says that they are God's true religion. So, possibly one or none are telling the truth. If God would name the true religion we could get rid the ones who have been telling us lies

Your question is silly. There is no favorite religion. They are all flawed and man-made baloney....and so is the Bible.

I believe that the only day God is ever going to come down is on judment day. I do not wish that God comes down and chooses a religion. I mean what happens is he chooses a religion that i hated so much and considered mines best. I will feel left out. I also believe that everybody serves thesame God so God wouldn't choosse any but all.

New Heavens and New Earth*
http://www.submission.org/suras/sura14.h...
[14:48] The day will come when this earth will be substituted with a new earth, and also the heavens, and everyone will be brought before GOD, the One, the Supreme.

[14:49] And you will see the guilty on that day chained in shackles.

[14:50] Their garments will be made of tar, and fire will overwhelm their faces.

[14:51] For GOD will pay each soul for whatever it earned; GOD is the most efficient reckoner.

[14:52] This is a proclamation for the people, to be warned herewith, and to let them know that He is only one god, and for those who possess intelligence to take heed.

Freedom of Choice

[33:72] GOD have offered the responsibility (freedom of choice) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.

[33:73] For GOD will inevitably punish the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women, and the idol worshipping men and the idol worshipping women. GOD redeems the believing men and the believing women. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

The Day of Judgment

[39:68] The horn will be blown, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be struck unconscious, except those who will be spared by GOD. Then it will be blown another time, whereupon they will all rise up, looking.

[39:69] Then the earth will shine with the light of its Lord. The record will be proclaimed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forth. Everyone will then be judged equitably, without the least injustice.

[39:70] Every soul will be paid for whatever it did, for He is fully aware of everything they have done.

The Disbelievers

[39:71] Those who disbelieved will be led to Hell in throngs. When they get to it, and its gates are opened, its guards will say, "Did you not receive messengers from among you, who recited to you the revelations of your Lord, and warned you about meeting this day?" They will answer, "Yes indeed. But the word `retribution' was already stamped upon the disbelievers."

[39:72] It will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell, wherein you abide forever." What a miserable destiny for the arrogant.

The Believers

[39:73] Those who reverenced their Lord will be led to Paradise in throngs. When they get to it, and its gates are opened, its guards will say, "Peace be upon you; you have won. Therefore, you abide herein forever."

[39:74] They will say, "Praise be to GOD, who fulfilled His promise to us, and made us inherit the earth, enjoying Paradise as we please." What a beautiful recompense for the workers!

[39:75] You will see the angels floating around the throne, glorifying and praising their Lord. After the equitable judgment is issued to all, it will be proclaimed: "Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*39:68 The sequence of events on the Day of Resurrection begins with the symbolic blowing of the horn. The second blowing of the horn-by a creature who was spared from unconsciousness-marks the resurrection of all people; they will be resurrected on today's earth. This earth will then be destroyed by the physical coming of God, then a new earth and new heavens will be created (14:48). We will then be stratified according to our degree of development

No...The way the world is today, if God came down, He would probably destroy the world! Kill most of us!

I am thankful that God sent His son for our salvation, that we be saved by grace through faith in God. God gave us a better "Way"...Christ!

Yes... God has been conspicuously absent and it draws attention to him. If he showed up every day.. he wouldn't get near the attention. I wish that God (if he exists) would condescend to speak to his progeny and say... once and for all... "You are mine... now you know where you came from... you are not "up from the slime." However, God's enduring absence leaves us to make our own conclusions. You have your's, I have mine. And there's nothing wrong with that.

actually I wish he'd come down and smite the wicked--much more productive that way since every religion has it's fair share of bad people

yeah, that would get rid of a lot of confusion, but considering the atmosphere of society these days, people would probably think he was some alien.

NO, he would still probably say the same thing. "My favorite religion is ME." bow down and worship me. or "I am that I am."
He is very conceited.
