4 and 4+ are actually stated as being the same size - 22 to 35lb.
Whats the point in making stupid comments like that? I wouldn't ask a question if it had an obvious answer

I use pampers for my 3 children, that has always confused me but the 4+ is for children who have outgrown the 4's but not quite big enough for 5's so there is only a slight difference between the weights of 4's & 4+'s! I have twins (boy & girl) my son skipped the 4+ & went straight to 5's as he's a bit chubbier but my daughter is still in 4's but will need 4+ soon as she's so petite the 5's will fall off her! My 2 yr old was the same, she also used the 4+! You could always e-mail pampers, apparently they're really good when you have a problem with any of their products they get right back to you!

From personal experience there's only a slight difference. When I've checked the packaging (pampers) a size 4 is 15 - 40lbs and size 4+ is 20 - 44lbs. The same goes for size 5 and 5+. There's just a couple of pounds difference between the start of the weight range.

Not much, but if your refferring to pampers there is a huge size jump between 5+ and 6 size wise!!

I'll tell you the only difference I've come across is that you get less 4+ in a pack for the same money!! what a con!?!?!?!

you get fewer nappies with the +
seriously i have a chubby baby who always needed a more generous waistband-so the 5+ is the one we use for our 12month old

They are wider to allow for different shape toddlers who fall into same weight bracket.
