Oh you bet your buttons. This is a skill any woman who is afraid of her strong feelings, rejection, or just nervous has mastered. I do this myself, I can make eye contact and flirt all I want with a man who makes me feel giddy and attracted to him. But when the attraction is such that I do not know what to do with myself around him I am very aware of my actions and everything he does. Yes peripheral vision is how we do it and you probably are not noticing all the quick gazes she makes in your direction to locate you and watch what you are doing. If you do like her and decide to make a move she may send you mixed signals for a while until she is not afraid of getting hurt. Many men think mixed signals means that a woman is not truly interested but I think that most of the time it means they are afraid to get hurt. For some women the more they feel for you the more afraid they are and the more they run. Sometimes I even glare at men I am very attracted to...I don't know why I can't help it, it is like a defense mechanism to keep danger (hurt feelings) away. I think she likes you.

I could never NOT look at a guy if I find him attractive and sexy. I will look as long and as much as it pleases me and I will also compliment him. But my problem is it's difficult to find one with all the characteristics that I desire. And when I did find the perfect package, guess what??... he's attached so I have to keep looking and backing off hehe. But I still look and watch and study his every move and gesture. I don't suffer from that "fantastic gift" you call periferal vision ;)

The fact is that men are overwhelmingly predictable to most women.
Any woman with some intellect is simply scanning for one who shows potential for being something a little bit less usual.
Those more intelligent might scrutinise more closely and take some time after this to figure out whether he is of good character or not, but a general proportion of the younger ones will by pass this process if he happens to look they way the like or is in possession of some material fortune.

No they look, but they just dont get caught, i think women can focus on something or someone, and notice when they move out of the corner of their eye. They take in their surroundings well. Its like they have a super power, that they can focus on a person and instantly know what that person is doing or where that person is, no im jk. But i think that they just dont get caught lookin and pay attention to when their "subject" starts moving or doing sumthing with out really being obvious about it.

They still glaces when the man is most probably busy in his activities. Yet they are always nearby so as to be seen. Remember they need attention from him also. And they want him to start the first open move most of the time.

Actually given that we males are massively skilled multi-taskers. We are always looking at cars, bikes, boys toys and every other woman inview we just don't have the time to focus on that one woman for the length of time necessary to realise shes watching!

We look without looking. When a woman doesn;t want to meet your gaze because she is insecure or maybe just shy she will watch you from the corner of her eye. The same way children think mums have eyes in the back of thier heads.
I think we are all born with it! LOL

Yes, they are experts in it, it's called being sneaky and hypocritical. When we look at a women we do it openly and honestly and then sometimes we get called perverted just for doing openly what our female critics are doing all the time. Typical female hypocrisy and double standards.

I think women look at men the same way as men look at women. The difference is men aren't as observant of womens characteristics. We tend to look at other things.
