The best thing to do is to look up the flower of that month like feburary flower would be violets and or primrose

Try to stay away from roses, just because you'll be paying out the nose for them (due to Valentines Day)...the flowers in season during February include: callas, lilac, orchids, daffodils, tulips and ranunculas.
