the 1 st step is to just get familiar wid d girl and and make it a habit to talk to her casually as if she is a very goodfriend..then after sumtime u cud go into more stronger bonds of friendship and share with her ur gossips and get her into knowing ur life like telling that ur sibling is very naughty for instance does this and that etc. . eventually shewil also tell u abt her friends ,life etc.. .then wen u r close friends u can propose to her.. this is the nicest and the most gentle way of convincing a girl...

u shud first knw whether the girls likes u or not and also its important to knw whether she is having any bf or not.If its cnfirmed then u can go ahead and propose and also u need to knw wat kind of a girl is she i mean she needs u as a frnd or can go further in deep relation with u.And proposing is not a scary thing u shud be confident and proud
