falling in love is an action... (verb) it's when you're in that giddy, the other person can do no wrong stage. you're blinded by love, spend hours making out, and want to be together 24 seven.
love is a whole other thing its when you have settled down and are more "comfortable" it's kind, patient, forgiving, understanding, etc... its when you'd still rather be in the same room as that person even if your'e pissed as hell at them

Of all the questions you could ask you choice this one.. Love is a feeling of care, much affection and desire to keep that individual in your life. a good example of this is the love you feel for your parents, sister and brothers.. and maybe your wife after many years.. However, to be in love with someone you are saying it is an interment relationship. One in which you give your all to the other individual and them to you. That there is no area or item that is taboo; that, you feel as one. i.e., they hurt, you hurt, they smile - you smile; sort of like you can read each others thoughts. There is only one other love higher than being in-love, and that is a mothers love. A love that never fades, but for a man and women, it can and does fade sometimes. they call that divorce.. that's where you love them but no longer in-love.

Love is a noun - person, place, thing, or idea.
Ok. Seriously. Falling in love is more like infatuation. Love is deprived from infatuation. That's the difference between the two.

Falling in love are the butterflies you get in your sstomach. That goes away aftr a while. Love is what you feel for your nearest and dearest including family dogs an cats etc. Thats why it is possible to love more than one person at one time
