the number of murders in our country are increasing rapidly and our government does nothing but let the killers go free to kill again. this may sound stupid to some but is the government systematically rooting us out. Are they committing secondary genocide by simply allowing the killers t do the work for them and then remain quiet.

how can you say that? the majority of the victims arent even old enough to have ahad anything to do with apartheid. Just look at the crime stats and the general degradation of the system in south africa and carefully rethink your answer... better yet come live here and experience it for yourself.

The world has a twisted view of what is actually happening here in South Africa. they only have the information that there media has given them in order to create good ratings. think about it, how well would the news sell if the new told them that the entire existence of apartheid revolved around a single statement. Yes there was segregation. But there was not the level of cruelty that the current government reports. it was nowhere near as bad. Yes there were isolated incidents of crime. but nowhere near as horrific as there is today. Ignore the politicians and hear what the people say.

No, I have to disagree. While nobody knows the future hold, one has to stay rational with this topic. White murders are still much lower than black murders. In 2001 465 whites were murdered at a rate of 10.3 per 100 000 compared to 4.3 per 100 000 in 1991 while 91% of that killings were committed by whites. More than 95% of commerical farmland is still white-owned and more than 99% of wine farms. White unemployment is at 4.8% - lower than the USA. White graduates getting work is a lot higher than black students. The white population is getting richer as well as the black middle class which grows at 50% per year. Worrying however is the fact that 1 million of the 5 million whites immigrated the last 10 years and Affirmative action and BEE only helps a small amount of black people and it also results to a loss of quality of work in many instances because the people aren't always well trained enough.

South Africa is not in the desperate state as it may seem. Enormous progress has been made since 1994, but the world isn't aware of that. Visit http://www.sagoodnews.co.za and http://www.southafrica.info as well as the following article which was written by an American economist:

"Try, beloved country: rumors of South Africa's decline are greatly exaggerated

IF YOU BELIEVE what you read and hear about South Africa, you'll think the country is in horrible shape, with 42 percent unemployment, runaway crime, and 5 million people dying of AIDS. After nearly a decade of democracy, sub-Saharan Africa's crown jewel is, many pessimists warn, even more damaged than it was under the apartheid system.

But if you believe your eyes more than the press, and conversations with individual South Africans more than misleading statistics, a different picture emerges. Having spent time in South Africa in the mid-1980s and mid-1990s, I was anxious to return and see for myself just how much truth there was to these disturbing and depressing reports.

Last August I spent 10 days poking around the greater Johannesburg area, from the ravaged Central Business District to the squatter camps, from the townships to the wealthy suburbs. I talked to taxi drivers, scholars, businessmen, squatters, politicians, reporters, lobbyists, hawkers, doormen, a chief, and an ex-president. The society I observed was far from doomed. Rather it was dynamic and growing, with healthy political debate, teeming shops and malls, and a vibrant private sector. South Africa, for all its very real troubles, is a basically free country that's improving by the day...

South Africa is also getting more intergrated and suburbs in especially Johannesburg is getting more diverse. I've also read on BBC that there are middle class white people who are interested in buying property in the Soweto township. So yeah, while know one can predict the future, things are going better than many people think. Our economy is growing at a rapid rate (the best in 2 decades) and racial relationships are not bad at all! An American who visited South Africa said recently that the racial relationships on Cape Town's streets was for him better than in America! People really should visit this country - 7.4 million do each year. I know a few people who fell in love with the country after they visited it. With all the problems we do have such as crime, unemployment, poverty and Aids, we can be proud that we have such a friendly, optimistic and proud nation!

If you want to see the future of South Africa just look at Zimbabwe. They are probably about 10 years ahead of South Africa in the elimination of civil rights and confiscation of property.

I don't live in your country but I know that white people there have alot of power and the government resents that. Of course those slimeballs would do something like that. Politicians can not be trusted no matter where you are. What is the Government gonna do with the extra power? Probably depress more Africans? It is a fact that US sent millions of dollars in food to help Africa but the government locked it in sheds and let it rot. They would rather let their people starve then feed them food that was genetically produced. Countries don't need stubborn arragont people like that in charge.

I have known blacks, whites, and Asians from South Africa. From what they have told me, the blacks are killing each other at a much higher rate than they are killing whites. That said, there are many asians an whites leaving South Africa, but there are more whites going to South Africa.

Your xenophobia is getting the best of you. I doubt that is the case at all you population has always been out numbered...people are probably just getting out. 300 years of Dutch rule and apartheid screws up the balance. It will take a long time to repair the damage. probably another300 years. If you do not feel safe I suggest you also get out. And try recolonizing Holland

Yes. and no one will help you. It seems inconceivable to believe that White people can be descriminated too. Look at Zimbabwe.
My uncle had to flee South Africa because of threats from Black people. His kids were born in S.A. but no one helped him.
I was thinking of a holiday there but i have changed my mind

Yes, the whites are. Here is what I suggest you do. Screw what the hell the world community is saying about you. Take your country back and push the Africans north. I have seen the pictures and seen what they are doing to whites. It's not pretty.
