Among all those hatefull answers and ones which say we get virgins, i have the real answer to your question. Islam and Christianity basically both teach good things. THat is dont rob, dont kill, and dont commit suicide bombings. Suicide Haram in Islam what ever the pretext. The way Islam differs from Christianity is that beside telling us what is bad for us, it also shows us a way how to achieve a society where bad things do not take place. For example, we know that US is a country with one of the highest incidents of rape and molestation. Both christianity and Islam says dont rape. But Islam shows a way how people will not rape. The Quran says, that men and women both should be dressed modesltly, women should only display her beauty to her husband and close relatives. Outside she should cover herself even though she can leave the face open. For men, Quran orders that if we look at a girl and a Lust ful thoguth comes to our mind, we must lower our gaze, and not stare at her to feed on her. Finally after if after all this, anyone commits rape, death penalty for him. I ask all you out there, that if these three islamic principals, (that is women dress modeslty, men lower their gazes and not stare, and those who rape should then be put to death) are implemented in the US, will the rate of Rape increse, will it remain the same or will it decrease. Obviously it will decrese. You implement the law of GOD and straight away you get results. Thats where Islam is different.

Wow, it's like let's see what each religion offers as perks and then choose the one that sounds the best? Like going to Best Buy and getting the swankiest, most prettiest I-pod with all the nifty features. Might as well not believe in any religion if you're gonna be asking questions like that. Religious spiritual attainment is more than just choosing one religion over another for simple things like that. Just call yourself an agnostic and hope for the best.

There are two main reasons, because Christianity has two statements which couldn't be accepted. One , Can a God marry
a human to give birth to a son, ridiculous. 2. Multiple faith is the greatest sin that God will never forgive.

ok ok I'll say it again, MUHAMMAD WAS A FALSE PROPHIT, he tried to lure the Crhistians and Jews to him but when they found him false they turned him away, so from then on Islam advocated the killing of any non Muslim, lying if it benefits you, waging war, sleeping with children, making a man equal to 3 women, saying a man cannot commit adultry cause the woman lured him even if it was all out rape, that every other religon is good for killing, enslavement, or sexual servants, that ifyou try to recruit someone to islam and they refuse they must be killed, and many more unimaginable acts. Second pull your head outof your ***, religion isn't about benefits. It is about beleif, if you beleive that you are a God and everyone else is an animal and you wish to stand next to murderers, rapist, pedophilias, theives, liars, and cowards go join islam. If you want everlasting life and eternal paradise, go in Christ brother.

Islam is a religion, but not in the western meaning of religion. The western connotation of the term "religion" is something between the believer and God. Islam is a religion that organizes all aspects of life on both the individual and national levels.
Islam organizes your relations with God, with yourself, with your children, with your relatives, with your neighbor, with your guest, and with other brethren. Islam clearly establishes your duties and rights in all those relationships.
Islam establishes a clear system of worship, civil rights, laws of marriage and divorce, laws of inheritance, code of behavior, what not to drink, what to wear, and what not to wear, how to worship God, how to govern, the laws of war and peace, when to go to war, when to make peace, the law of economics, and the laws of buying and selling. Islam is a complete code of life.
Islam is not practiced in the mosque only, it is for daily life, a guide to life in all its aspects: socially, economically, and politically.
Islam is complete constitution. Thus Islam keeps the Muslim away from confusion, because Islam is logical and rational. Allah is one. Allah is one Allah has no sons. Allah is not associated with trinity. Allah does not kill to save. No mediation is required between Allah and man. Islam organizes human nature, but does not go against it. There is not a class of clergy in Islam; nor is there celibacy. Islam is complete way of human life.

I never heard of having 72 virgins for good deeds or bad ones etc.. even I am a Muslim....
it is just a media crap.....
Islam teaches the whole way to lead a perfect peacefull life.
It even teaches the clean Banking system.
It teaches to be pure, & loyal to ur wife....
where as any others dont teach any thing ...
If they did, the people must have folowed....
Islam is the complete code of life....
NO religion is comparable to this one....

1. Islam sees all babies who born in this world are free from any sins. Clean and pure as angel. But Christian don't.
2. Any sin that muslim commit, he/she can praise directed to Allah by him/herself for forgiving his/her sins but in Christian, they need a Priest to make confession and the Priest will pray to god that this guy will be forgiven.
