Recycling.. Recycling..It's really simple... Quick story. A buddy of mine has four daughters and the live out in the boonies. They had a pick up and trailer full of trash. for about two months.. I took the kids. showed the how to sort out metal, plastics, paper, glass for the recycle spot. Then what goes to compost.. Their dogs ate the rest. Guess what. They went to town almost daily.. took the recycle stuff with 'em. Had a little trash to burn. Other than that.. There was NO Garbage.. At all.

I believe we should do as much as we can to try to conserve energy and material. However, we live in a extremely wasteful society, the trend is definitely throw it away (i.e. swifer and such), so one is fighting a losing battle. Even when one tries to recycle, the process actually pollutes the enviroment more-it costs more to recycle and the process puts out even more harmful chemicals in the environment the second time around thn it would to simply bury it (for reference-Penn and Teller's Bu11shit!)-with the exception of cans.
