Palau!!!! Palau is one of the most beautiful places in the world to visit. It has unique characteristics, i.e Jellyfish Lake ( the jellyfish don't have poison because they don't have a need to protect themselves where they live at, hence Lake) and the soft coral lagoon. The life is laid back, and the snorkeling is awesome. The currents there are connected with Australia's Great Barrier Reef currents, so the marine life there is very rich with over 5,000 species of marine life. OK, now I sound like an ad campaign... but , I grew up there so my love for the island shows.... but check it out, I guarantee you will not be disappointed...Oh, and the place to stay is the Palau Pacific Resort...

1. Maldives. I thought I died and went to heaven. This place features sugar white beaches, warm water, swarming sea-life just outside your beach-front bungalow. Unmatched for that "island bliss" feel. Scuba is great, too. Only downside is that it is pricey.
2. Pulau. Great, but only if you are a scuba fanatic. Jellyfish Lake, Bluehole and Big Blue are great dive sights. Awesome WWII site. Best diving in the world.
3. Phuket. Easy to get to, affordable villas, fantastic food, lots of side trips (e.g. diving, see elephants, cooking schools, temples).
4. Luang Prabang, Laos. Send the new spouse to the land of the exotic. Rustic, relatively untouched, fantastic handmade textiles, cheap, amazing culture (e.g. Hmongs, Khmers, Lao). Go tramping off to the real local villages, where they have never seen foreigners. Sample the local banana-rice moonshine, take speed boat rides up the Mehkong.
5. Bali. Easy to get to, affordable villas, lots of art crafts, amazing Balinese culture & people. Wide range of accomodations.
6. Sydney. Still cool for those who are super adventurous. Fantastic food, quirky shopping, lots of sights, great day trips (e.g. Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains, North Sydney). Easy to get around.
7. Beijing. Forbidden City, Great Wall, Summer Palace, Silk Alley, waving your arms around trying to order Peking Duck. 'Nuff said.
8. Nepal. Want something you'll never forget? Political stability making this okay to go to. You haven't lived until you've touched the base camp at Sagarmartha, walked around the Anapurna Circuit, done class 5 rapids in a river so remote that there are no mosquitos and sat in reverent silence with monks. Go in second half of May, when summitting of Everest happens and rapids get really fun. Needs a month to do properly.
9. Japan. Japan is so... Japanese. Enter into the Twilight Zone where EVERYTHING is different. Unbelievably organized and clean. Center in Kyoto for the most romantic places.

Amanpulo in an island in Palawan, Philippines. Its very inner maximum and that they actually cater to couples or family members. It has even attracted the attention of international celebrities and that they shop on coming lower back for its elegance and calmness. basically some accomodations are universal at a time to grant travellers their privateness.

I would strongly recomend u to go to East Timor for honeymoon. You will have plenty of fun while listening to the heavy machine gun from a bunch of FDTL gang-based soldiers in Metinaro.
