Basically most people on here have it correct,...
There are 2 deaths - a physical death and a spiritual death
These both came into play during the fall of man with Adam and Eve in Genesis.
Now, we all experience the physical death that you are aware of. And we are all born spiritually dead as well because we are sinful creatures. Until we accept Christ and are "Born Again" as Jesus commands us to be in the gospels, we will not ever overcome our spiritual death.
By accepting Jesus we inherit eternal life and our soul lives forever in Heaven.....also if you study the end times and Revelation you will pick up on exactly what eternity after this life will be all about, and what role God will give us in that. It is pretty cool and exciting to think about.
Hope this gives a little more info....

According to christianity, death was caused by the first sin. Adam and Eve eating from the fruit of the tree of knowledge. This seperation from God was the beginning of age and death

God knows best and determin by himself.
Worldly cause is just to satisfy human.
In Islam there is no concept of original sin. No body can be punished for what they did not commit. Further God is Almighty and Most gracious and mercyfull. God has already forgave Adam(pbuh). Allah says, Put your hope in Me. Man was not created sinful, but he was created weak. He is prone to fall into the temptations of sin and the whispers of Satan and when he does, he should always remember to turn to Allah, call upon Him, and ask for forgiveness with hope in His mercy. If one has hope in Allah and trusts Him, Allah will act accordingly to that servants beliefs and faith. And if he does not have faith and is in despair of his Lords mercy, Allah will act accordingly. Not having hope in Allah and despairing of His mercy is a great sin and an act of kufr. Allah quotes Prophet Yaqoob (alaiyhis-salam) in the Quran:
Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people. (Surah Yusuf 12:87)
When Adam(pbuh) was away from Eve, he was crying and asking god for forgiveness, as a result The Most mercyfull God forgave his mistake and Adam and Eve met each other again.
This is Islamic perspective I tried t explain very briefely.
God knows best.

Ilamic Believes say that every person has to taste the taste of death.
Means every person has to die.
the parameters like time & date & day & Place are decided before the person is even born.
The actuall concept is that GOD has sent us in the world to see whether we follow HIM or we follow satan.
Here HE has given us free will.
HE examins us by our free will'a deeds.
there is a time specified within which we have to please our GOD , & that time is actually our life time.
When this time is finished, we die.
& enter into a new life of GRAVE.
Where we will be asked some questions....
like DID u offer prayers... or recite Quran???
If we answer correctly we will pass & if NOT, we will suffer punnishments till the JUDGEMENT DAY.
ON that JUDGEMENT DAY, we all will again come back to life.
we will have to show what we did in our entire life, Good deeds or Bad Deeds,,,,
Good deeds will make us go to heavens, & bad deeds will take us to hell.

Birth.
Birth into a sinful, imperfect life that we inherited from one man. Adam. That's it.
The Holy Bible says, "the soul that is sinning, it itself shall die." So, those are the rules, we all fall short and sin, and when we die, we pay for our sins wages, i.e., death. So, when we die, we are forgiven for our sins. However, that doesn't mean that we aren't judged according to the way we behaved and treated others during our lifetime. But more important of all, how we talked to, loved, respected and treated our God.

The cause of death is rejecting Christ...
There is a physical death and spiritual death....We are "Born in Death" being "spiritually dead", of a sinful nature being flesh beings. Those who don't obey God,(follow His "Way" which is Christ) are spiritually dead.
We all will die a physical death, for flesh is sin; corrupt, mortal saying it's liable to age, get sick, be diseased, break bones, and die; Flesh (sin) cannot enter the Kingdom of God; God's Kingdom is of the Spirit...
Accepting in the flesh, "God's Way" (repenting of your sin and accepting "God's Way" being asking Christ to be your personal savior) gives you the free gift of God.... life eternal!
