video clip viewing?

when i click on link to view video clips, maybe like 15 sec. clips, they dont open in my windows media player, they just open on the internet but nothing plays, can anyone help? i've recently downloaded iTunes, would that have anything to do with it possibly? i dont think i changed my default media player and even if i did, the clips dont open in the other media players i have

You need to Specify in you preferences if you are Viewing with Windows Media Player or Quick-Time from iTunes Application
