I have ben getting email yahoo.com.tu I would like to know what the tu means

.tu is not a valid top level domain. Mail you are getting from there has forged sender addresses. It's probably spam junk mail, with the forged address to prevent you responding to it, and make it harder for you to track down where it came from to report it.

For the other answerers: Turkey is .tr.

I'm not sure that there IS a Turkey based Yahoo!

Or a Tunisian one..!

I went through all the international Yahoo! sites, and none of them seems to have .tu at the end - at least not on the URL for the main Yahoo! page!

Are these unpleasant e-mails? Or e-mails that ask for bank details or something? There are a lot of e-mails floating around cyberspace that were sent from fake addresses, and adding 'yahoo' to an e-mail address makes it APPEAR genuine, even if it isn't!

Be careful with your information, and if you don't know who's sending them DON'T reply to them!! Just get them re-routed to your junk folder if they're all from the same place.

maybe it stands for Turkey
like .ca is for canada
.uk is for united kingdom...etc
