Not All Food Stuff Bought From Supermarkets Contain Trace Of Nuts, They (Manufactures) Just Label It As A Precaution, Jus In Case To Get An Allergic Reaction By Consuming Thier Products And Then Decide To Sue Them..
In That Case They Have Proof That They Warned You & Maybe Even Use The Line " I Told You So...."

Because they are produced in a factory where nuts are used in as little as one recipe. Because a trace of dust from the nuts can cause some people to have a severly allergic reaction that could kill them, companies list that it may have traces if nuts have ever entered the facility even if the product in question contains no nuts. Better safe than sorry.
also, many things are now fried in peanut oil.

Often food products are made on machinery that produces more than one item. because the companies cannot guarantee that there is no trace of nuts, and also because of the severity of the allergy-sufferer to even a small trace of nuts, it is easier for companies to give these warnings just in case there are traces of nuts left over from the manufacturing process.

Not all products marked with that do. Companies just put that on products if there is a possible chance it might (like if it was manufactured in the same place they make Snickers bars for example), for the purpose of warning people with conditions such as Anaphylaxia
