has anyone drove down there and is it safe? what do you need to do if im taking a car down there? where is a safe place i can sleep without getting robbed? what states should i pull over and sleep how long will it take me to get there?

Mexico is not a safe place for Americans. Unlike here, the police there are corrupt to the point of stealing from people, falsely imprisoning people, and even rape. They will bring false charges against people and they can keep you until someone from America pays what ever fine they impose. They rake in millions each year from Americans they put in jail for next, to or nothing at all.
And the drug lords rule the country side. The federally police are even worse. They can put you away for no reason and keep you indefinitely. They do not have notify your relatives either. This place is NOT THE USA. Their rules are not like ours. And right now, they are angry with the US because we are fed up with their people coming here illegally. So if I were you, I would not go there at all.

well no you might have a car accident i drove down there my father died you better not about 9 hrs i forgot don't go it is really dangerour you might get robbed so don't go especially when you are on a car you if it is a four wheel drive go but if it is a two wheel drive don't go or else you are going to go to heaven you don't like that. Well if you are going with a family of four or more well take it a shot but if you are p or l licence don't think about it you are going to be on highways and some trucks and cars will go faster then you it is so dangerour when i told my friends they said that they will never gothere again. My opinion is you should not go there if you just started having a family or if you drived for more than four years well yes go but not with a two wheel car or a truck or van four wheel cars are the safe cause they are high

DONT DO IT! YOUR CAR WILL GET JACKED AND U WILL GET HELD FOR RANSOM! if you are of mexican descent and can speak the language then MAYBE! it depends on how "American" you are, the more the worse there!
