you had problems with and you decided to be just friends and they wanted to be more what would you do? this guy i have loved for two yrs. wants to be with me. he loves me but he has issues and i feel like he wont change. so if he is promising to change and wants to stay, what would you do. nothing seems to work. i finally decided to move on and he doesnt want to loose me. but at the same time he has done nothing to work hard at our relationship. he does sound convincing but is past track record is not good. what would you do? its very hard cuz i really love the guy.

he is faking it up , a person that loves you should work hard on it even till the last second or even when you two have already break up the person shouldn't give up.
all you need to do down is forget about him and move on

I want to tell you to cut all ties and move on he'll never change but the truth is people do change. Ten years into my relationship my love has become all that he promised. Change is not easy and does take alot of time and effort....all u need to do is ask yourself do u love him enough to wait

Look to see if he makes any of these promised changes BEFORE you take him back. He may just be telling you what you want to hear to get you to stay with him and then he won't follow through after. If he knows he needs to change to keep you it might be some incentive. If he goes back to his old ways after you take him back consider it a lesson learned and dump his ***.

It is possible for you to love a person and not be "with" them. I like to call it being in love with yourself first. This is an absolute must if you are ever going to be able to give to someone later.
Anyone who takes away from you in mind, body or spirit is not the right one. Its that simple.
It does get easier with time.

I am sure it is hard, sad, in a way.
You have grown up, know what you want, and your life forward.
I am sure it is more than hard to do loving him.
If you want, try once again, tell him, ask him.....I do not think he really understands, or is just using you...sorry, I said that.
Honestly, it seems you are trying.......move on.....There is a lot of life ahead of you!!!!!! You will fall in love again, believe me...
and you will not even be looking for it......
I know you love him very much........however, it will only keep you from life....it's out there.......Go for it....

I know how you feel. Look, if he changes for you, then sure, stay. But it doesn't look like he is. Looks like he's using some cheap words to get you to stick around. It's not what he says; it's what he DOES. And if he won't do that for you, he doesn't love you as much as he claims to. Tell him that, and let him know that if he doesn't change, you're not coming back.

Girl its obvoius he's a jerk. Leave him and move on. yeah, sure you love him....but you'll hated him more when your relationship don't work the way you wanted and you know it......

i hve been there before..trust me people dont change..the right decision is break up the relationship.tell him that you want to be alone..move on with you new life..if you can't decide this i think you are only wasting you times.good luck!
