I think you SHOULD! I love my dogs more than I ever will any of my gf's. Dogs make such better friends than people ever will be, they are the only thing that will love you no matter what you say, no matter you do, no matter what you look like or smell like! They won't ever tell what you whisper to them at night, and they will never betray you for someone they like better. Dogs are awesome and I'm thoroughly in love with them (if you couldn't tell!! :-) And don't forget what doG is spelled backwards.

It depends, do you love your boyfriend. If you do then nothing can compare to that love and nothing can break that love. If you had to chose between your dogs life or your boyfriends life you know as much as i know that you would save your boyfriends life every time and if you say you wouldn't then man you are just a bad person and you don't deserve ether one the man or the dog

Absolutely! Boyfriends? You can replace if they treat you bad but your dog will always be there with you in good or bad moments. Perhaps this tells you all.....dogs are men's best friend. You can yell, laugh, cry and get angry but they will always be there wagging the tails whenever you are near.

It is so VERY EASY to love a pet more than a boyfriend!!! My 3 little Chihuahuas are living proof !!! : )

Dogs to some people can be family.Like their children,brother's ,sister's,etc. It is an unconditional love,it can not be compared to any other.Any human being who has ever cared for an animal will confess this....

i thought there was a saying that is being perpetuated throughout society that all men are dogs...so why would u want to love one dog more than the other?that is unfair...treat all your animals with the same amount of respect and love.

yes it is possible but its sad at the same time.. if you have a bf you should be planning to marry him.. so forget the dog... if you love the dog more.. :( it doesnt seem like he's the one for you..
