I love the bike but don't know how to properly adjust the preload on the fork. I have the rebound down good but it didn't come with a manual so I don't know how much to crank it in. I weigh 160lbs.

If you want your fork to work well on the trail, you need to set the rebound fast but set your fork soft (Fast rebound help you to take in all the rough trail with a not so soft spring/air, don't set your fork hard on rebound and hard on your fork, or when you going for a drop, your fork will bound you off like a superman. On road, you need the set your fork hard a bit on spring/air and slow on the rebound.

Adjust the pre-load depending on your feel of the bike. When in doubt though, go to the shop where you bought it from (or any other shop) and ask them.

go to a bike shop and have them give u a few tips on how to do it
or you can pay them to do it 4 u

by the way i am looking foward to owning a rockhopper as well

I set mine for a quick return and hard rebound for better control
