You have to take into the account how long it takes to fertilize the eggs. This can take up to 2 days so being the average dog pregnancy takes 9 weeks your estimations are correct but add a couple days ;)

Also, x-rays and ultrasounds are out of the question at this stage due to the fact you can't see anything yet. Ultrasound is minimum of 4-5 weeks and x-rays 6-8 weeks.

Well the problem here is that bitches can have multiple eggs inseminated from different times. The bitches body holds the sperm for up to 7 days before she lets her eggs down. So to make it simple, start counting from the first insemination but you can have problems if some of the eggs are fertilized with the sperm from this last insemination. Obviously the problem is that she will have all the puppies at once and you can have puppies that are premature. And any more than a day premature is usually deadly. You should stop them from breeding, in fact you should have stopped it 5 days ago.
Edit: 63 days is correct although it can be 61 or 65 depending on the bitches body.

Magdalane is a veterinarian, so her answer is right on.. However, it may help to ease your mind if you measure her around her girth, at the last small rib, now..and mark it on your calendar for 21 days from now to measure again.. If there is any increase, she is likely pregnant, and you can know that pups are on the way..

the only way to be 100% certain if a dog is pregnant or not is to take her to the vet and have the vet do an x-ray or ultrasound.

and yes, you are correct that she will be pregnant for about 60-65 days after the date of conception.
