It could go either way, but I think we are more driven by genetics than we imagine. The things is that we have choices that can over ride our genetic make up.

I have three children. A son, an adopted daughter and a younger son.

She likes and dislikes things that I imagine come from her geneitcs. Then there are things that are very much nurture.

I don't have enough time to give examples but I do believe that is she someday met her birth family she would see things that are just like her.

Another reason I see that nature is stronger than we think, is that I have a grandchild who has rarely seen her biological father. But those rare times I can see facial expressions. I can see where she gets her athletic ability.
It is actually amazing. Even as a baby she had manuerisms just like her birth dad.

He will act more like the Father who has been the biggest imfluence in his life and has spent the most time with. I know this is a general answer, but it's true. He may have memories of the Biological Father, but it really gets down to who is IN his life and a part of it.

I don't know how Mom is in the picture, or if she even is, but typically 'boys' seem to develop character traits from their Mother and Daugters mirror after Dad.
